本會成立於1980年5月23日，每三年為一屆並選舉應屆理監事，至目前為止已歷經10屆，會員工廠目前擁有105家(包含14家贊助會員)，會員代表超過113人(包含14位贊助會員)。每年由會員廠商推派代表召開會員代表大會，審查年度工作計劃與工作報告以及年度歲入歲出預算與結算。每三年於會員代表大會中選出理事15名，監事5名分別組織理監事會，理監事每三個月召開一次理監事聯席會議，推動和檢討促進會務正常運作。本會並視會務發展設有若干工作委員會。
本會會務分別設有業務組，財務組，會務組正常運作之外，尚配合政府積極推動農業機械化政策，協助會員廠商新產品研發、市場調查、以及國內舉辦農機展示會等作業。本會每年不定期組團到國外參展，觀展，參觀工廠，或舉辦座談會等活動，藉由不同活動讓廠商交流並提升經驗與能力。
ABOUT ASSOCIATION
The Taiwan Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (TAMMA) was founded since 1980. We have now 88 companies in our membership and more than 90 people are working as representative of members. Every representative is chosen by the membership companies, responsible to arrange meetings, follow-up annually works, and examine financial reports. The association also has 20 members of a council, which are elected every 3 years, the members of a council are responsible to examine all the jobs of representative of members. The association also has several committee members helping for activities.
The association is also working with Taiwan government to develop new technologies of agricultural machines, by marketing research, exhibitions, visiting factories, and hosting seminars, the final goal is to assist members developing the business in either domestic or international markets.
